How much do you charge for events?
The price for events depends on a number of factors such as the type of entertainment, number of people, length of time, and location. To discuss prices or receive a quote, please contact Erica.

Erica offers a variety of entertainment options for birthday parties, including balloon sculpting, magic shows (featuring a live hedgehog!), airbrush tattoos, and more. Learn more

Sedgie the Hedgie appears in all of Erica’s magic and storytelling shows. Learn more
What is the hedgehog’s role in your shows?
Sedgie the Hedgie gives Erica and her audience a goal to work toward throughout each magic or storytelling show. He is mentioned several times to build suspense and to teach children about hedgehogs. At the end, Sedgie the Hedgie, the real hedgehog, is revealed and on display for the kids to get a closer look. Due to the possibility of germs being spread to the hedgehog, Erica doesn’t allow everyone to pet the hedgehog. Learn more
What if I need multiple entertainers for my event?
If you are expecting high attendance at your event, you may require more than one entertainer. Erica frequently works with a team of balloon artists, airbrush tattoo artists, face painters, and magicians that she can book or work alongside at your event.
With what ages do you work best?
Balloon sculpting and airbrush tattoos work well for all ages. Erica always says there is no “height limit”!
Magic and storytelling shows typically work best for ages 2–7. Erica emphasizes comedy and surprise more than illusions or sleight-of-hand, and this tends to be more appealing to younger audiences.
Balloon Workshops are best for ages 6 and above.
Do you require a deposit?
No; Erica allows the entire payment to be made on the day of the event. If your company policy requires otherwise, Erica is flexible with the payment schedule. There is no cancellation fee, as Erica knows you cannot control the weather or other factors.
What is the best way to handle payment?
Erica’s accepts credit card, check, Venmo (@EricaEntertainment), or cash. Checks should be made payable to Erica Carlson Entertainment. Learn more
Can you provide audio amplification for your programs?
Yes; if necessary, Erica uses a wireless microphone and a 200-watt speaker system in larger or louder venues.
